Mosquito-borne Disease Control Program
The Northumberland County Conservation District Office operates the Mosquito-borne Disease Control Program for Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union Counties. The 2024 season will begin in April. If you already know of any areas of concern, please see the attached flier for ways to prevent the pooling of water and prevent mosquito breeding areas from starting. If you have areas of concern which are beyond your control, please reach out to the Northumberland County Conservation District to report it for potential remediation.
