Initiative to Help Control the Feral Cat Population (FUNDING AVAILABLE)

Selinsgrove Borough and Cherished Cat Rescue Alliance (www.cherishedcats.org/tnr) have joined forces to control the feral (stray) cat population in the borough humanely. If you live in Selinsgrove Borough and have a cat colony in your life/neighborhood and would like help to get them humanely trapped and neutered please follow the steps below.  The Borough budgets each year to aid in the effort of controlling the feral (stray) cat population. All you need to do is apply (see below) and Cherished Cats Rescue Alliance will walk you through the process.

You must submit two applications:
1. Cherished Cats Application –  https://www.cherishedcats.org/needhelp (Apply for Coverage) – MUST BE DONE ONLINE
2. Selinsgrove Borough TNR Application –  TNR Application updated 2024  – This can be completed and returned (mail/drop off) to Selinsgrove Borough, 1 N. High Street, Selinsgrove, PA 17870 or emailed to borough@selinsgrove.org.

You will be contacted by a Cherished Cat Rescue Representative who will answer any questions you may have.
In exchange for our help, you must agree to provide food and some kind of shelter and return these cats to the location where they were trapped.

The fee includes the spay/neuter, Rabies Vaccine, ear tip and flea meds. ALL CATS must come in a Humane (live) Traps. Cherished Cat Rescue Alliance has some to lend out and you will be trained in their use.
