The Selinsgrove Borough Parks and Recreation Board was established to maintain, improve and expand the recreational activities and facilities throughout the Borough. The Park and Recreation Board is made up of volunteers committed to improving lifestyles and offering opportunities for everyone! As always, our goal is to make sure your visit to our facilities are enjoyable and as pleasant as possible.
Kidsgrove Park
247 West Sassafras Street
Kidsgrove is a 3.25 acre neighborhood park privately maintained and operated by Kidsgrove, Inc, an all volunteer board. The park contains a large wooden play structure, universal swings and sandbox, picnic pavilion and accessible walking path and permanent restrooms that are open seasonally. A parking lot is available. The Borough doesn’t take reservations for this facility.
Major Anthony Selins Park (Available to Rent)

Major Anthony Selin Park contains a playground for children ages 2-5, horseshoes, basketball courts, volleyball net, tree museum, picnic pavilion, restrooms and a parking lot. It adjoins Anthony Selin Woods, Kidsgrove, and the AYSO soccer fields. The pavilion contains kitchen facilities and is available for rent.
This location is perfect for any fundraising events, family gatherings, birthday parties or reunions. The Major Anthony Selin pavilion has multiple picnic tables to seat a large group. The Concession stand area is a great place to store supplies, serve food and keep food refrigerated during your special event. The Pavilion is located next to large open grass fields that can provide the space for different activities during your event. NO cars or other vehicles are allowed on the open grass space.

Anthony Selin Woods
520 South High Street
This facility is across the street form High Street Manor on South High Street. This is also the location of the LifeTrail which includes ten fitness stations. It also provides a picnic pavilion for residents.
Pump House Park & Gazebo (Available to Rent)
116 & 119 East Snyder Street
The Pump House Park includes a building that can be rented for any meeting, party or group event. (must be 21+ years to rent and have a valid ID)
This facility contains restrooms and a kitchen, as well as a gathering space that has 5 tables with 6 chairs at each table. The room can hold 30 people but can be rearranged for as many as 60 people with additional chairs, the renter must provide additional tables. The Gazebo is another great feature of the park, located in an attractive setting along Penns Creek. The Gazebo is a popular spot for outdoor weddings, photo shoots, and concerts.

The Gazebo can be rented with The Pump House of separately.

Pump House Tot-Lot

Across the alley from the Pump House Park is a small fenced-in play area, full of brightly-colored playground equipment. Swings, slides and other features make this playground a fun place for kids.
Moose Playground
15 West Mill Street
This large playground includes an area with a variety of play equipment, as well as a shaded pavilion. There is also a basketball court for kids of all ages. Located in the middle of town, this playground is convenient and full of fun activities.
Rotary Field and Pavilion
508 Tenth Street
This space, developed by the Selinsgrove Rotary Club, contains a picnic pavilion, as well as a Little League baseball field, concession stand and restrooms.
Selinsgrove Community Pool
30 Linda Lane
During the summer months, the community pool is a popular summer spot to relax and cool off. The pool complex is located within a residential area, and is right up the hill from the Selinsgrove Elementary School. The pool features a main swimming area, a diving board, zero-depth entry, enclosed tube side, t-cross bar, rain drop, splashpad, a bathhouse, and pavilion area. There is also a concession stand, grassy hillside, and hand-painted scenes covering the building walls. The complex is completely fenced in and is a great location for all ages during the summer months. Memberships, private parties and pool rentals are available.

AYSO Soccer Fields
321 West Sassafras Street
The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), in cooperation with the Selinsgrove Borough and Susquehanna University, operates and maintains the soccer fields. These fields are primarily used by AYSO for soccer games and lacrosse.
Isle of Que Boat Launch & River Access
700 South Front Street
This area on the Isle of Que includes a boat ramp for easy access in and out of the Susquehanna River, a paved parking lot, picnic tables, and an attractive retaining wall to sit along the river bank. The boat ramp provides a great service to those who love and use the river.
Little Norway II
101 East Sassafras Street
Open during the winter months as weather allows. (It needs to be very cold to maintain the ice.) This man-made pond is flooded with water each winter season to provide an enjoyable skating area in town. The rink is completely maintained by volunteers in the community and provides outdoor fun during the winter. A warming building is located next to the rink to provide concessions and a cozy fireplace. Skating and ice skates are free with select skate sizes available.

Penns Creek Kayak Launch

This facility was established in 2010 as a public access to Penns Creek to launch or remove Kayaks and canoes or to just enjoy sitting along the bank. Picnic tables are available.
Dog Park
243 West Sassafras Street
Our well used Dog Park was established in 2010 for our four-legged friends. The Borough Public Works mows and maintains the lot, but patrons of the park are the ones who should be cleaning up after their pets.

Community Rooms
The community rooms are located on the ground floor of the Selinsgrove Borough office. These rooms can only be used by government, educational, community and non-profit organizations that serve the Borough of Selinsgrove. Community room use is not intended for individuals, commercial activities such as selling items. All activities must be open to the public.
