South High Street (South of Sassafras Street) – Water Main Break

The boil order is no longer in effect. Affected residents can now use the water without boiling.

 

UPDATE: (8/21/25 @ 9:30AM)

The boil order is still in effect for the residents affected by the water main break on Monday, 8/18/25. The Borough Water Supervisor must wait for the result of the second required water test. Once the order is lifted, residents will be notified.

UPDATE: (8/18/25 at 5:20PM)

The water has been restored to the area but is currently under a boil order until further notice. A new posting will be placed on your door once the boil order is lifted. The boil order is typically at least 48 hours, but please await the notice prior to consuming any water.

During construction activities on S. High Street on 8.18.25, the water main was struck. You will experience low water pressure to no water until the repair is made. Upon completion, there will be a boil water advisory. A boil water advisory notice will be placed on your door with more detail.
