Selinsgrove Community! Please join us in welcoming Joe Snedeker of WNEP on Tuesday, July 22nd at noon at the Selinsgrove Commons for the 28th Annual ‘Go Joe’ Charity Bike Ride event which supports the St. Joseph’s Center.

Be sure to bring your mustache or come get a fake one to wear from the Borough to greet Joe. The theme of the bike ride this year is “Stache for Cash.”

Check out the other stops he’s made so far as his annual bike ride begins and if you’re interested in donating to this worthy cause please go to: http://stjosephscenter.org/gojoe28/

Selinsgrove community members are all invited and encouraged to meet in the Commons at 11:45am to prep for Joe stopping at 12pm. Bella’s pizza and fake mustaches will be available to participants at no charge while supplies last. There will also be a rolled ice cream truck available so bring cash to enjoy a sweet treat as you pass the time waiting for Joe in the July heat!

If there are any local bands or musicians interested in playing for an hour at the Commons while we wait for Joe or if any other food trucks are interested in setting up, please contact the Borough Office at 570-374-2311 or borough@selinsgrove.org.

Local businesses along Market Street are encouraged to put out signs and to welcome Joe as he rides through the Borough and stops at the Selinsgrove Commons.

Lastly, just for good ole Selinsgrove fun, any Selinsgrove Borough based business or organization that takes the funniest group “moustache-y” photo will win not only bragging rights for being the coolest, but your organization will also win a free advertisement in the Fall Borough newsletter which is sent to every resident.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Borough. We hope to see you there!
