Public Workshop Regarding Potential ICE 287(g) Program Participation
The Selinsgrove Borough Council will hold a public workshop on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room located in the lower level of the Selinsgrove Borough Building, 1 North High Street, Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
The purpose of this workshop is to receive public comment regarding the Borough’s potential participation in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) 287(g) Program through a proposed Memorandum of Agreement.
This workshop is intended to provide Borough residents with an opportunity to express their views regarding the proposal. Public comment will be limited to five (5) minutes per speaker. To ensure all viewpoints have an opportunity to be heard, time may be allocated for comments both in support of and in opposition to the proposal.
No official action will be taken during the workshop.
